In this stage total 10 teams (8 + 2 qualified teams) will participate which are again divided into Group 1 & 2.

This is the first time when Asia cup tournament will be played in T20 format. This will be 13th season of the league. India and Sri Lanka both have won the tournament 5 times where Pakistan only managed to win only 2 times. Lets see who will win the battle this year.

Every year total five teams participate in the tournament. Four teams are the main Asian cricket teams like India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan & Bangladesh. The 5th team is selected through qualifying matches which is played between four other teams Oman, Hong Kong, Afghanistan & UAE.
