Top team of Qualifier points table of Asia Cup 2016 will get entry to the tournament. Five teams will participate in the tournament India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and the fifth team will be decided after the Qualifier round. Each team will play 3 matches. The teams which will play qualifying cricket matches are Hong Kong, United Arab Emirates, Oman and Afghanistan.
On 19th February two matches are played where Oman and UAE registered their win and showed their intention for the tournament. Asia Cup 2016 Points table got first ranking update today. On 20th February 3rd Qualifier match is coming up Afghanistan vs Oman which will be played at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium, Fatullah.
