The fifth qualifying match of T20 World Cup 2016 will be played between Scotland vs Zimbabwe on 10th March at VCA Stadium, Nagpur, India. Both the teams are in Group B of the qualifier round with Hong Kong and Afghanistan. The team which will lead the group in point table will progress to the Super 10 stage of the tournament. both the team will be meeting for the first time in a t20 match.
Scotland start was not as expected and they lost their first match of the tournament to Afghanistan. The batting and bowling both didn’t work for the team in the match as they let Afghanistan to score 170 runs and lost wickets on crucial moments. Due to this defeat, Scotland has legged behind and to make live their chances to enter in Super 10 of World T20 2016 they have to win their second qualifying match today .
On the other hand though Zimbabwe was able to win over Hong Kong in their first match of the tournament, their win was not an easy one as Hong Kong gave a tough competition. The bowling was looking weak which needs improvement. Vusi Sibanda smashing 59 runs innings helped Zimbabwe to put a decent score of 159 runs on the board.
