Indian Premier League 9 has started from 9th April 2016 and the final match of the tournament will be played on 29th May 2016. According to the schedule released by BCCI, the 35th match of this season will be played on 7th May 2016 between Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Rising Pune Supergiants at Bangalore. Royal Challengers Bangalore has played in all eight seasons of Indian Premier League held till now but still have not won the title yet. Though they have reached final match in 2009 and 2011 twice but lost both the match and ended as runner-up only. Eventually RCB performance dropped down from 2011 and they never proceeded further the league stage Match. In IPL 9, Virat Kohli who was the Man of The Series of recently concluded T20 World Cup 2016 will be leading the Bangalore team.
Rising Pune Supergiants is one of the new team in IPL who got the chance as a replacement for suspended teams Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals for two years.
