Fair Play Award in IPL 2016: Full Team Ranking in Fair Play Points table

The ninth season of IPL is going on in India from 9th April and it will last long up to 29th May 2016. Another interesting stats which you will love to know is the Fair Play award in IPL 2016. In this stats team ranking are decided according to their fairer and clean performance in the matches. It will tell you about the team and what kind of cricket a team is playing in the tournament. There many factors like playing good cricket, not doing sledging, unnecessary appeals, challenging umpire, not using abusive languages, and many more are there which decides ranking of teams in this category. Every team is awarded with some points and the squad which play cricket with sportsmanship will be leading the table.

Each year this award category is made and points are distributed after each match and the teams which earn maximum point will be announced as the winner of this Fair Play award. In 2013, 2014 and 2015 Chennai Super Kings won the award under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. We all know the nature of MS Dhoni, he is known for his honesty due to which he took his team to the top in this category 3 times. In 2012 Rajasthan Royal crown with this award. In IPL 9 CSK and RR both are banned due to which two new teams Gujarat Lions and Rising Pune Supergiants are included into the tournament.
