Year 2016 will be the first season of the league. Wasim Akram and Rameez Raja will be the brand ambassador for the next three season of the PSL. Many International cricketers from all over the world participate in the tournament. This year PSL T20 Schedule will start from 4th February 2016 and ends on 23rd February 2016 with the final. Tournament will be played in U.A.E at two venues :-
- Sharjah international cricket ground
- Dubai international cricket ground
Total 5 teams are there in the PSL 2016 named on Pakistan’s major cities and they are :-
- Lahore Qalandars
- Islamabad United
- Peshawar Zalmi
- Quetta Gladiators
- Karachi kings
Each team having combination of Pakistani and overseas cricketers. Shane Watson, Kevin Pieterson, Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo and many more big players are the part of tournament. Shahid Afridi, Misbah Ul Haq, Shoaib Malik,Wahab Riaz are some of the big and popular Pakistani cricketer which will be part of the Pakistan Cricket League 2016.
