Indian team for IND vs ENG 2016 Test series Announced: Complete Squad & Players list

The senior selection Committee of BCCI has announced the Indian team for IND vs ENG 2016 Test series. Total of 16 players are picked up for the upcoming test series against England. The squad is selected for the first two test and for the rest 3 matches BCCI will confirm soon. Virat Kohli will be leading the team where Ajinkya Rahane will be the vice captain of the team.

Indian team just won the test as well as the ODI series against New zealand last month and now ready for the next challenge. England will be on the tour of India for 5 test matches series followed by 3 matches ODI & T20 series. It will be a long tour for the Britishers of 3 months.England team will fly back home for Christmas just after the 5th test match and will be back soon (with in 15-20 days) for ODI & T20 series. First test match will start from 9th November 2016 and the tour will end with last T20 on 1st Feb 2017.

Yesterday the Selectors of Indian cricket team meet and picked up 16 players for the upcoming test series against England. One of the senior batsman of India Gautam Gambhir also called for the series. There few young players which are selected for the challenge like Karun Nair, Jayant Yadav and Hardik Pandya. We have seen Hardik Pandya’s performance in ODI series against New Zealand last month which made his way to the test team. It will be wonderful to watch how young players perform under the young and the star batsman of Indian cricket team Virat Kohli.
