It will be full power pack T20 match in Nagpur, all the tickets have been sold out. All cricket fans are waiting for the grand event from a long time and now its action time. Both the team are placed in Group 2 of Super10 round.
If we look at the form of both the team, India has recently played a T20 Series with Australia where they won all the 3 matches. Just after this Asia Cup 2016 where 5 back to back wins and became 6th time Asia cup champions. Now India is on the top of the ICC T20I ranking which is showing how good team is performing. The team is loaded with one of the best opening pair Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan. Both the batsman are performing remarkable. Then the great Virat Kohli who is currently on 2nd position in ICC batsman ranking in T20I, one of the successful batsman of this format Suresh Raina, the sixer king Yuvraj Singh and the captain cool MS Dhoni. So the batting strength of the team is up to the mark where Ashish Nehra, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya are ready with their pace attack and the trump card of India R Ashwin and sir Ravindra Jadeja will be there to spin the ball. So the whole team looks so balanced and have all the ability to lift the T20 World Cup again.
New Zealand never won such title in the past but this time they don’t want to lose opportunity and will make maximum from it. Kane Williamson will be the captain of the team as Brendon McCullum announced his retirement from all international format of cricket recently (Feb 2016). If we look at the recent team performance they won T20 series against Pakistan with 2-1 and win 4 T20 matches out 5 they played recently. They are on the 4th position in current ICC T20I team ranking. The team is capable of turn the game at any point. Corey Anderson who has a record of fastest century in ODI format on 36 balls, Martin Guptill the only new Zealand player who scored double hundred in ODI, Kane Williamson are some of the batsman who can hit big sixes and impart the momentum to the innings any time. If we look onto the bowling squad, who can forget the speedy Trent Boult. He was one of the successful bowler of 2015 ODI World Cup and impressed all with bowing performance. Mitchell Mcclenaghan, Tim Southee are their to tackle Indian batsman. So both the team are strong and no one can predict who will start their World T20 2016 tournament with a win.
