CPL 2016 Schedule & Matches: Caribbean Premier League T20 Fixture

Just like IPL T20, Caribbean Premier League is a t20 cricket league which is West Indies based cricket tournament held every year. The CPL 2016 schedule is announced by the officials starting from 29th June 2016 with first match Trinabago Knight Riders vs St Lucia Zouks ST Kitts & Nevis Patriots vs Guyana Amazon Warriors. All matches and fixtures are given in the tabular form in the end of the article, also available in the pdf format too. This year also 6 teams are participating and it will be the 4th season of the tournament. Hero is the title sponsor of this season.We have seen 3 previous season of the league in which we have 3 different champions, may be this time also a new team will win the title (Check CPL Winners and Runner-ups here). The teams which are participating in the League are :-

1. Barbodas Tridents
2. Guyana Amazon Warriors
3. Jamaica Tallawahs
4. St Kitts & Nevis Patriots
5. St Lucia Zouks
6. Trinbago Knight Riders

Each team will play with the other teams in the league stage and the top four teams in the points table will play the grand finale play-offs of CPL T20 2016. The tournament will be played at various venues of Caribbean islands but some of the matches will be played in Florida (USA) too. The venue of Hero Caribbean Premier League T20 2016 final is not announced yet which will be played on 7th August 2016. We will update the venue as soon as it is published by the management.

Update: The format of the tournament is out now. Each team will play against each other twice in the tournament. So each team will play 10 matches in the league stage. Points table will decide the four teams which will qualify into the Play-offs of the tournament. The top two teams of the league stage will play the first Play-off match and the winner of the match will directly enters into the final of Hero CPL 2016. The losing team will battle in the 3rd Play-offs match with the winner of 2nd Play-off  which will be played between the teams who will be on 3rd and the 4th position on the points table. So these 3 Play-offs match will give us the two finalist of the tournament and on 7th August the grand final of the Caribbean Premier League will be played.
