Bangladesh Women squad has been declared for the forthcoming T20 World Cup 2016. The Women tournament will start from 15 March and will be played simultaneously with Men’s T20 World Cup in India.
Bangladesh and Ireland have qualified through 2015 World Twenty20 Qualifier. On this 5th Edition of tournament, Bangladesh will play its group matches against India, England, Pakistan and West Indies. The team will be led by Jahanara Alam and Fahima Khatun, Khadija Tul Kubra and Rumana Ahmed will be the key players. The only change in the squad is addition of Sanjida Islam. The selectors have also named stand players for the tournament which included Rubaya Haider, Shamima Sultana, Suraiya Azmim Sonda, Nuzhat Tasnia (Tumpa) and Tazia Akthar.
