The grand tournament for which we all are waiting Caribbean Premier league has been stared and now we will have entertaining T20 matches daily. The league started from 29th june and will last up to 7th August 2017. Viewers were asking us for Today match in CPL 2016 and the playing XI which will be selected in for the match. So we have decided to give what our viewers want from us and publish this post which will tell you about the Match of CPL T20 2016 which is coming up next and the Playing XI which will be selected by the captain of two teams.

If we look at the tournament format, Total 34 matches will be held this season and out of which 30 belongs to the league stage. This year six teams are participating in the tournament and the four team which will perform better than the other will play the next round of the league i.e. play-offs. On 7 August 2016 the grand finale will be played between the two team who will win the play-offs round.

Almost daily a T20 match will be played as per the CPL schedule at different venues of Caribbean. This year six fixtures will be held in Florida to promote cricket there. So the entertainment will be double this season. Six teams which will be participating this year are Trinbago Knight Riders, Barbados Tridents, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots and St Lucia Zouks. Each team will play 10 league matches and the CPL 2016 Points table will decide the 4 teams which will play next round of the League.

To select the Playing XI of a team is one of the toughest decision which a captain have to make. The result of a match can be different if proper player selection was not done and can cause a defeat too. So in T20 Match the players which will be selected in the Playing 11 is matters most. Some times captains read wicket wrong and done improper selection of the team which is also seen many times and in the match team struggled.

On 7th August 2016 the grand final match of CPL 2016 will be played and it will be GAW vs JT. Guyana Amazon Warriors will be taking on Jamaica Tallawahs at Warner Park, Basseterre. Here are the complete details of the matches :-
