IPL 2016 Revised Fixture: Vizag will be Common Home Venue for MI & RPS

As we all know that the high court of Mumbai ordered that there will be no IPL matches after 30 March 2016 in Maharashtra and now Indian Premium League Governing Council has published revised IPL 2016 fixtures. Vizag will be the common home ground of Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiants for the rest of the matches of IPL 9. The Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium situated in Vizag will be hosting all the remaining matches of RPS and MI which is to be earlier hosted on their home grounds. Due to drought condition in the Maharashtra an appeal is filed in the high court due to which BCCI and IPL committee has changed the venue for both the team as well as the Play-off and final matches too.

Earlier IPL GC looking for the Sawai Mansingh Cricket Stadium, Jaipur for host all such matches but Rajasthan also on the edge of drought due to which they decided Vizag as the final option. Both the franchises agreed with the venue as their home ground and happy with the facilities available there.

Timing of Two Matches Changed :-

On May 15th two matches to be played and the timing of both the matches are changed due to this shifting of venue, the first match KXIP vs SRH will be Played at Mohali which will start at 4:00 pm and the second match MI vs DD will be played at 8:00 pm.
