Today BCCI announced Indian Team Squad for Asia Cup 2016 T20 tournament. Asia Cup 2016 will be played in T20 format for the first time as per ICC which will start from 24 February to 6 March 2016 in Bangladesh. Just after the this tournament ICC World T20 Cup starting from 8 March 2016 to 3rd April 2016 and will be hosted by India.
In Indian Team squad young Pawan Negi will be the new face. He is also selected for Sri Lanka T20 series, hopefully he will made his debut against Sri Lanka. In IPL T20 2015, he played for Chennai Super Kings and performed extremely well with the bat and ball which made him to get ticket for Indian Team Squad for Asia Cup 2016 T20.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be the captain of the Men’s team for the tournament. Yuvraj Singh, Ashish Nehra and Harbhajan Singh is also included in the team squad along with Suresh Raina. Mithali Raj will be the captain of women team.
