Two more days to go and after that all speculations will come to an end and we will have a clear view of the teams who will have face each other in the finals of T20 World cup 2016. The teams are ready and will battle in the semifinal with all their strength to make their place in the finals. In the first semifinal New Zealand will battle with England on 30 March while India vs West Indies will be the 2nd semifinal of the tournament to be played on 31 March 2016 Wankhede Stadium known as a batting paradise.

Match Preview:

Before the tournament started, India was the first favorite of all but the performance of Indian batsman in the inaugural match of the T20 WC 2016 has rightly proved that T20 is surely a game of uncertainties and no prediction can be made for this short format of the game. India lost its first match of the tournament against New Zealand with a huge margin of 47 runs. The defeat clearly showed the weakness in batting order of the strong batting line up of India. Though the team was able to make a comeback in the tournament by winning all the other three super 10 stage matches against Pakistan, Bangladesh and Australia but has backed these wins due to the brilliant performance of Virat Kohli. As far as batting is concerned for India, it is has been a one-man show, except Kohli none of the batsman has played according to their name in the tournament so far. As result of this the early wicket of Kohli concluded the match in India’s defeat against New Zealand and a last ball win over Bangladesh. If batting has been a disappointment for India throughout the super 10 stage, bowling is the area which has worked for the team with Ashish Nehra, Jaspreet Bumrah and R Ashwin all performing well in the matches.

Opposite to Indian performance, West Indies entering semifinal stage has been a surprise to everyone. West Indies not only led the points table but has won three group matches but lost the last match to minnows Afghanistan which did not make any difference as WI has already qualified for Knockout stage.Unlike India the team has not been dependent on any individual and has shown a team effort to win against England, South Africa and Sri Lanka. Chris Gayle 100* runs against England prove the win of the Caribbean, if this man has his day. Suleiman Benn, Andre Russell and Dwayne Bravo are all doing well with the bowl whereas Andre Fletcher has taken responsibilities from batting side.

One thing is sure that cricket fans will have a super match to enjoy when these two teams will battle on the field to get closer to the trophy and move to semi finals.

The match for which all cricket fans are waiting just going to start, the 2nd semi final of ICC T20 World cup 2016 which will be India vs West Indies. On 31st March 2016 the big match will be played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The tournament is reached to the knock out round, 1st semifinal will be played between England and New Zealand at kotla on one day before this match that is on 30th March. After so many up downs in the WC T20 Points table of Super 10 stage we have four team which qualifies to the knock out round and IND vs WI of T20 World cup 2016 will be one of the biggest battle of the league. Both the teams have won the title once in the history but this time only of them have that chance to lift the trophy. The live score and all the action of the match will start at 7:30 pm.

There are two groups in the super10 round formed and top two teams from each qualifies to the next round. From Group 1 West Indies, England tops the table and from Group 2 New Zealand & India. So the fixture is made like that the team is on no. 1 position in a group will play the semi final to the team which is on the second spot in the other group’s points table. So this decide two semifinal like that :-

New Zealand vs England

West Indies vs India

If we look onto the performance of the both the team, West Indies played 4 matches in the league stage where they beaten big teams South Africa, Sri Lanka and England. But in the 4th match Afghanistan fight back and defeated WI by 6 runs. Chris Gayle and young Andre Fletcher scoring good runs for them and in the list of highest individual score of the tournament. If we leave the qualifier round than Gayle is the only player of the T20 World Cup 2016 who scored a hundred. Dwayne Bravo is one of the leading wicket taker bowler from their squad with 6 wickets so far in the WC T20 2016 tournament. So the team is going good but have to concentrate on their batting since after hitting few sixes they just throw away their wicket. So if West Indies team look on this they can be big challenge for the Indian team in the second semifinal.

Indian team also not performing up to the mark, just before this tournament they have won T20 Asia cup, series against Sri Lanka and Australia but in the T20 World Cup the performance of team is not what all expected from them. The top batting order continue to fail and not scoring runs for their team like Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina. None of them have scored a single fifty in the four match they have played so far. Virat Kohli is the only batsman who is scoring maximum runs for the India and make his team win the matches. If we not consider the qualifier matches than he is the leading run scorer of the World T20 2016, scored 184 runs in 4 innings including 2 fifties with an Average of 92.00 and the last match inning against Australia was superb of 82* runs not out and bring victory to his team at very crucial time. Captain MS Dhoni contributing runs for his team when needed. So if the top order starts scoring run in the upcoming semifinal match then India has good chance of winning the game. The bowling squad of IND is performing good Ashish Nehra ,Bumrah ,Pandya all are good with the ball and R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Yuvraj singh holding the spin attack strongly.

So both the team have some minor weakness and if they work out on those then definitely we will have a great competitive semifinal IND vs WI match on 31st March of T20 World Cup 2016 . The live score of the match will be covered here, which is given the end of the article

With so many exciting and breathtaking matches in group stages, ICC T20 World cup 2016 has reached to its semifinal stages. The four teams which are successful to proceed to next stage are West Indies and England from Group A and New Zealand and India from Group B. The first semifinal will be played between New Zealand vs England on 30 March 2016 at Feroz Shah Kotla Ground. Before this both the teams has met four times in the world t20 event and that all are in group stages. Both teams have won twice over each other.England has won the title in the in 2010 whereas New Zealand is still to open their account for title.

New Zealand is the only team in the tournament which has remained unbeaten inspite of being in the very much competitive group and topped the point table. They have been inform since the very first match of the tournament and registered a win over India which has been considered the biggest contender for the tittle. They not only win but defeated India with a huge margin of 47 runs and throughout ruled the match. They were able to defend a low target in all the four matches. This shows their bowling strength. The pair of Mitchell Santner and Sodhi in bowling department has been able to restrict the opponents whereas Martin Guptill is the leading run scorer from the team. In the group matches, New Zealand has batted first in all the matches so it will be interesting to see whether they can successfully chase if in semis they will bat second.

England has shown continual improvement after they lost their first match against West Indies in super 10 stage of WC T20 2016, where Chris Gayle scored 100* runs by hitting 11 sixes due to which West Indies won the match. But soon England make their comeback in the tournament and won all the three matches against South Africa, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. Though their qualification for next stage was in question till their last group stage match but their win against Sri Lanka confirm their ticket to semi final match.

The super ten round of ICC T20 World Cup 2016 has comes to end and from each group two teams have qualified into the semifinals and they are West Indies, England from Group 1 and New Zealand, India from Group 2 . The 1st semi final of T20 World Cup 2016 will be played between the team who tops the points table in the Group 2 that is New Zealand and the team who is on the second spot in the Group 1 that is England, so the grand battle will be NZ vs ENG at Kotla, Delhi on 30 March 2016.

Till the last match of the super 10 the semi finalist are not decided but after the India vs Australia match where India registered their 3rd win of the tournament all the stats are cleared. Now in the 1st semi final New Zealand will take on the England team in Delhi. The live score of the match will start at 7:30 pm which you can check here too. The toss will be very crucial for both the teams as due factor will there in Delhi which creates lots of problem in gripping the ball for the bowlers.

If we look onto the previous performance of both the team England lost their first match against West Indies where Chris Gayle stood in front of them and with his 11 sixes innings of 100* runs snatched away the win from them. But after that match they proved all the critics wrong and one by one won all the other three matches against Afghanistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka. Joe Root is the leading run scorer from their team scored 168 run in 04 matches in the tournament.

New Zealand team will try to continue their winning Juggernaut at kotla too on 30th March and move towards the final of ICC World T20 2016. They have defeat all the four team in their group India, Bangladesh, Australia, Pakistan. They have defended low total too which shows the quality of bowlers they have. Martin Guptill is the leading run scorer from their team scored 125 run in just 03 matches. The young Mitchell Santner spinning the ball on the Indians pitches very well. So the team is pretty confidence with their past performance in the World T20 2016 so far and the 1st semifinal NZ vs ENG will be a good fighting match. It will be full of entertainment for sure. So are you ready for the live action of the grand match on 30th March.

The possibilities of either of the team Sri Lanka and South Africa has been washed away after England defeated Sri Lanka by 10 runs and reached semi finals of the T20 World Cup 2016. So win or a loss of any of the team in the T20 match SA vs SL on 28 March 2016 will not have any affect on the further proceeding of the tournament as both teams are out of the race to semifinals and this match will be played only for pride so that they can return home with a win. The Live score of the match will start from 7:30 pm.

The South African team despite of putting a high score of above 200 runs on the board against West Indies in their very first match of the tournament could not turn it into a win and lost the match to WI. In the second match the team again scored above 200 runs in 20 over against minnows Afghanistan and won the match easily. But the team collapses against the bowling attack of England and scored only 122 runs which the opponent chased with two deliveries remaining and won by three wickets.

Sri Lanka is badly effected by the loss of its experienced cricketer adding to this the injury of Lasith Maliiga has made the situation even worst. Like South Africa, they also have a single win in the tournament that too against the minnows Afghanistan and lost two matches against West Indies and England.

Here is the squad of both the team for the upcoming match SA vs SL T20 World cup 2016 :-

South Africa Squad: Faf du Plessis (captain), Hashim Amla, Quinton de Kock, Jean-Paul Duminy, David Miller, Aaron Phangiso, Rilee Rossouw, David Wiese, Kyle Abbott, Farhaan Behardien, AB de Villiers, Imran Tahir, Chris Morris, Kagiso Rabada, Dale Steyn

Sri Lanka Squad: Angelo Mathews, Dinesh Chandimal, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Shehan Jayasuriya, Milinda Siriwardana, Dasun Shanaka, Chamara Kapugedera, Nuwan Kulasekara, Dushmantha Chameera, Thisara Perera, Sachithra Senanayake, Rangana Herath, Suranga Lakmal, Lahiru Thirimanne

India and Australia are placed in Group 2 of the tournament along with New Zealand, Pakistan and Bangladesh. New Zealand is the only team in the group which has already qualified for the next stage by topping the points table and has remained unbeaten in the tournament so far. Whereas Bangladesh performance is just opposite to them as they cannot make a single win and are out of the event with Pakistan also joining them to return their home. So the next team to proceed further will be decided from today’s match which is a virtual quarterfinal between India vs Australia.

Before the World T20 tournament has started, India was considered the favorites for the champions backing on their performance in the last series against Australia, Sri Lanka and Asia Cup where team has shown brilliant performance and has won all the three T20 series. But since the beginning of the tournament the Indian players have below the par and their 47 runs loss in the inaugural match against New Zealand of the tournament has set the team back in the point tables for both points and in run rate. Though the team was able to grab a convincing win against the arch rival Pakistan but their last match performance against Bangladesh has clearly proved the amount of improvement team required to win the match against Australia. The opening pair is yet to make some contribution. Virat Kohli performance has impressed every but if the teams want to win the whole squad need to do some extra effort rather relying on any individual.

On the other hand, the Champion of ODI format has every trophy in their bag except the T20 World cup, so the team will be looking to fill the gap with the missing one. Australia too has lost their first match of the tournament against New Zealand but has shown improvement on later matches. They win convincingly the last match against Pakistan to keep their chances alive to enter into the semi finals of the tournament.

Yes After beating Bangladesh in the last match team India is ready to tackle Australia in IND vs AUS the Quarter final match of T20 World Cup 2016 which will be played at PCA Stadium, Mohali. This will be the last match of both the teams of super 10 round. Both the teams having equal points but due to better net run rate, Aussies are on the second spot in the points table. New Zealand team is on the top of the points table of Group 2 and already qualified for the Semi Finals of ICC T20 World cup 2016. They have won 3 matches so far they have played and their last match is going on between NZ vs BAN. Bangladesh and Pakistan are already out of the tournament.

Indian team played total 3 league matches so far in the tournament and registered 2 wins, one against Bangladesh by only 1 Run and second one is against Pakistan. The only match they lost which was a low scoring match against New Zealand where 127 run target is defended by the kiwis. IND team won last two T20 game of World T20 which boosted up the confidence of all the players. Batting as well as bowling department of the team performing well. Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, MS Dhoni are scoring runs for their team where Young Bumrah, experienced Ashish Nehra, Spin king R Ashwin holding the bowling strength of their squad.

If we look on to the Australian team, they lost against their rivalry team New Zealand but registered two wins against Pakistan and Bangladesh. Shane Watson who announced his retirement after the tournament, David Warner, Captain Steven Smith all are performing outstanding in the World Cup. In the last match they scored 193 runs in 20 overs against Pakistan and defend that total. In the pace attack James Faulkner who took 5 wickets in the last match, Josh Hazlewood, Watson are there. Glenn Maxwell and Adam Zampa proved themselves handy when a spin attack is needed.

So both the team are fully loaded with the all talented player they need. India recently won a T20 series against Australia which is also a plus point for them. But as we all know the Kangaroos squad is one of the greatest and strongest team of cricket and can change the game at any moment. So the India vs Australia match of T20 World Cup 2016 is very hard to predict and it is sure that the quarter final IND vs AUS of World T20 will be full entertaining match.

This match will be the last chance for the England team to make their chances alive for qualifying into the Semifinals of the World T20 2016. They has played three group matches so far and has won two matches (against South Africa and Afghanistan) and lost one that to West Indies. Though the team was able to gain a victory over Afghanistan, but the win was not as convincing as they struggled and it has clearly showed the improvements, the team needs to do work on their batting . The win over Sri Lanka will not be enough for them as they can be knocked out if South Africa also win the match against the same opponent on 28 March. So England also need to win with a high margin to strengthen their net run rate in the points table of T20 World Cup 2016.

The former champion Sri Lanka on the other hand has still to play two matches to proceed to the next round. They have played two group matches till now and has lost one to West Indies and won against Afghanistan. The team is in danger of being knocked out and the exit of Lasith Malinga from the squad due to injury has made the condition even worst. As we know cricket is a game of uncertainties anything can happen in today’s England vs Sri Lanka T20 Match. A very crucial match for both the teams. Lets see who will win and go to the semifinals of the tournament

The 28th Match of ICC T20 World Cup 2016 will be played today between New Zealand vs Bangladesh on 26 March 2016 at Eden Gardens. Both the teams are at extreme corners of point table as New Zealand is enjoying the top position by remaining unbeaten in the Super 10 stage till now whereas Bangladesh is at bottom and has lost all the 3 matches they have played. Thus in Today’s NZ vs BAN T20 match of T20 World cup 2016 a win or loss to any of the team will not effect the point table as New Zealand has already secured its position to knock out stage and Bangladesh chances to enter the next round is impossible. But still expectation of match to be super interesting is high as both the teams will surely want to register a win to boost their morale. Kiwis will wish to remain unbeaten and tigers will be looking for a single win before returning their home. So if you don’t want to miss a single ball of the match, then you are at the right place we will update you with live score of the match NZ vs BAN.

Before the tournament has started they were not considered favorites. But with their super performances they have astonished the Cricket Pundits and are now the strongest contenders for the title. The team is not relying on any individual as all the players has made their contribution to proceed towards the next round. NZ has proved their worth in the very first match of the tournament where they defeated India by 47 runs and considering them an easy side will harm you only. They not only defeated India but also win over their rivalry and the strongest contender Australia. The team continued their winning engine on against Pakistan also. Though their batsman are doing well but converting their performance into big one is the only area where New Zealand team is lacking except Martin Guptill who is the only half-centurion in the team . Looking into the bowling attack in the T20 World cup 2016 tournament, they doing marvelous for the team.

Check : Highest Wicket Taker of the Tournament

Bangladesh on the other-hand will be looking for their single win in the super 10 stage so that they can return to their country with their head held high. The team has disappointed their fans and was unable to carry forward their wining momentum in the tournament. Bangladesh cricket has shown an enormous growth since last year and has given a tough challenge to the strongest team. Though they have lost all three match in the tournament till now but they gave tough fight to their contender except the match with Pakistan where they fell an easy prey. The team came back into the tournament where they fought till the last over against Australia, but lost the match. In their match against India the team shows a brilliant performance till the last three balls were left when they need just 2 runs to win. The team’s inexperience paid a loss and they lost 3 wickets on last three balls and India won the match by just 1 run.
