Sunrisers Hyderabad replaced Deccan Charges in December 2012 when Chargers are terminated due to some financial issues. Year 2013 was the first season for hyderabad team in the IPL. They reached to the play-offs in that year. Out of three season they have played, qualified to the play-offs only one time. The struggle for the team continued last year too, finished the tournament by attaining 6th position in the points table just after the Delhi Daredevils. Can Sunrisers Hyderabad win the Finale ? 

If we look at the team and their performance in the tournament, they have won 10 matches so far out of 16 they have played which is maximum of this season. They have won 8 league matches and than Eliminator followed by the Qualifier 2nd. So by winning two big battle in a row the confidence of the player will be on the peak of Everest. They have performed exceptionally well due to which SRH will play the final of the tournament against RCB.

We all the know that Sunrisers have strongest bowling line up and now New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult also joined the team, becomes stronger than ever. Every team struggled in front of their bowling attack. Bhuvneshwar Kumar who has taken 23 wickets in 16 matches is the best performer from their squad and also current Purple Cap Holder of the tournament. Lets first look at the Kolkata Knight Riders performance, They have started the tournament with a win against Delhi Daredevils and from there they stick to the winning track but in the middle of the League they lost few matches but till the end they manage to win 8 matches out of 14 and with 16 points they grabbed the 4th spot on the points table. This season the player who shined and became match winner on many occasion from KKR side is the Yusuf Pathan. He shocked every body with his performance and told the world with his bat he has the ability which is needed to win the match. He is awarded 2 times with the man of the match and played many match winning innings for his team. Captain Gautam Gambhir also good with the bat. He has scored 5 fifties so far in 14 innings. The opening pair of Knight Riders is one of the best among other but from last few matches one of them getting out early due to which team feels pressure and struggle in the match. In the middle order young Manish Pandey is there who has scored century in IPL history than Suryakumar Yadav who is recently appointed as vice captain of the team. Andre Russell is one of the important player of Kolkata who can bat as well as bowl recently injured due to which he wasn’t played last couple of games. They have very strong bowling line up specially the spin attack. Sunil Narine the spin master is there with the team who is every economical with his magical deliveries. Piyush Chawla who is also performing good and providing important breakthrough to the team, All rounder Shakib Al Hasan also handy with the ball. In the pace attack Umesh Yadav, Morne Morkel and Andre Russell are with the team. If we look at the purple cap race, Russell is the leading wicket taker from the KKR squad, took 15 wickets on 12 balls.

In Sunrisers Hyderabad Batting line up, David Warner is one man army and when he crossed 50 runs marks his team won the match on 80% occasion. On the other hand they have lost 80% of the matches if Warner gets out early which is not good at all for the team. Big names like Yuvraj Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, Kane Williamson, Eoin Morgan are there in their squad but none of them consistent. Shikhar Dhawan started scoring runs in the middle of the tournament but again the flop show has been started. In the whole League he is unable to deliver for which he is famous for. He has scored 4 fifties in IPL 2016 but if we look at the strike rate only of 118.71 which is not belongs to him generally. Yuvraj Singh also not scored runs for the team. So the team management and the coaching staff will be worried towards their batting performance. If they want to give tough competition to the Kolkata Knight Riders than the batsman other than Warner have to score runs. If we look at the orange cap race, he is just behind Virat Kohli and is on 2nd spot in the list of leading run scorer with 658 runs in 14 matches. Also he has scored most fifties in IPL 2016 (total seven). So this shows he is in form batsman and his inning in the upcoming match surely affects the result of the upcoming SRH vs KKR match.

Hyderabad have one of the best bowling line up in this season but they have lost Ashish Nehra who is ruled out of IPL 2016 few days back due to an injury occured during a match. He was very economical with the ball specially in the slog overs. Now Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mustafizur Rahman have to bear all the responsibility and have to perform better than ever. Both are in the race of Purple Cap. In SRH squad mostly pacers are there. Braindra Sran also taking important wickets early in the match and Rahman in the middle overs very effective with his slower ones and yorkers. Deepak Hooda is the only spinner they have. Mostly they rely on the pacers and let’s see how they bowl to KKR batting line up.

About the Teams Qualified into the Playoffs :-

Gujarat Lions :- They have topped the points table with 18 points. GL have won 9 matches out of 14 they have played. There was a downfall in the performance of the team in the middle of the tournament where they lost back to back matches but corrected their mistakes before it gets too late and with 18 points which is the highest of this year qualified for the next round and will meet with RCB on 24th May 2016.

Royal Challengers Bangalore:- One of the best and strongest batting line up RCB have but despite of that they lost too many matches in the starting of the tournament but they have won back to back 4 matches and all are with a big Margin due to which they are on the second spot on the points table. RCB have played 14 matches, with 8 wins they have secured 16 points and 2nd position in the table due to which RCB will face Gujarat Lions in the Qualifier 1st. Both the Orange Cap and Purple Cap holders are from Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Sunrisers Hyderabad :- SRH team have stocked everybody this year, They have won 8 matches out of 12 and reserved their seats into the playoffs but they have lost 2 of their last matches due to which they are on the third spot on the table. They will play Eliminator match against Kolkata on 25th May 2016.

Kolkata Knight Riders :- KKR has started tournament with some good victories and but in the middle they also lost few matches due to which their chances fading away but the last victory against SRH made their entry possible and they got 4th place in the list.

Qualifier 1st :-

In this match top two team on the points table will fight and the team who will win the match will go to the finals of IPL 2016 directly. As Gujarat Lions and RCB are on the top so they will play the 1st qualifier.

The Eliminator :-

The team on the 3rd and 4th position on the points table will battle in the match and the winner of the match will meet with the team who lose in the Qualifier 1st. The team which will lose in Eliminator will be out of the race of the finals. So in Eliminator SRH will face KKR. The Schedule of the same is given below in the table.

Qualifier 2nd :-

In this match the team won the Eliminator and the team who lose in Qualifier First will meet and fight to get ticket for the grand finale of Indian Premier league which will be played on 29th May 2016 at Bangalore. The two teams which will meet in the Qualifier 2nd will be cleared after the first two first two matches of Play-offs.
