Man of the series Zimbabwe vs India 2016 ODI & T20 Series: Player of the ZIM Tour

India is on the tour of Zimbabwe for a 3 ODI match and 3 T20 Match series and today the 3rd ODI of Zimbabwe vs India 2016 is going on. Just after the conclusion of match Man of the match and the big one Man of the series award will be given to the player who performed out standing throughout the series. As we know Indian team have already won the series by 2-0 and almost won the 3rd odi too. So it will expected that the Man of the series award of Zim vs Ind 2016 ODI series will be given to an Indian cricketer. But we can’t be sure before the award ceremony take place.

Zimbabwe vs India 2016 3rd ODI Match Prediction: Who will win IND or ZIM

India is on the tour of Zimbabwe for a 5 Matches ODI series and in the first ODI, IND has defeated host by 9 wickets and in the second by 8 wickets. Now the 3rd ODI of Zimbabwe vs India 2016 series will be played on 15th June 2016 at Harare Sports Club stadium. Indian team is having a young, inexperienced squad which is headed by Mahendra Singh Dhoni. There are many player who have played their debut ODI match in this series. In the 1st match KL Rahul made debut in One Day international, scored a fantastic hundred there by hitting six and took his team to the winning line. Now Bharat is leading in the series with 2-0. ZIM will be looking forward to the 3rd ODI of the series and by winning the match will come back in the series and will have a hope to win the series. Lets see who will win this match and what our Prediction says about the ZIM vs IND 2016 match.

Zimbabwe vs India 2016 3rd ODI Match Prediction :-

If we look at the current ICC ODI Team Ranking, India is on the 4 position on the table where Zimbabwe is way behind on the 11 position. No doubt Men is blues are having good rankings but this time all new squad has been selected for the tour in which all the players are youngsters, MS Dhoni is the only experienced player there. So ZIM have good opportunity to take advantage of. For the series Graeme Cremer is selected as the captain of the team for the series.

If we look at the players of both the team and their individual performance than it looks like that IND will win this 3rd ODI of the series. All the players, specially bowlers have performed extremely well. Jaspreet Bumrah picked up 4 wickets in the 1st match and destroyed the batting order of the opponent where Dhawal Kulkarni took 2-2 wickets each. Yazuvendra Chahal who is on his debut was very impressive with his spinning deliveries and took his first wicket of Richmond Mutumbami and in the 2nd ODI took 4 wickets and becomes the Man of the match. Zimbabwe was only able to score 126 runs at the loss of 10 wickets in 34.3 overs (2nd ODI)

Despite of inexperience, youngsters performed well. KL Rahul scored his first hundred on his debut match in the first ODI. He has shown his temper out there and batted sensibly, with the help of 7 fours and 1 six he scored 100* runs with a strike rate of 86.95. Karun Nair, Ambati Rayudu, Manish Pandey, Dhoni, Kedar Jadhav are in the middle who can bat and can chase down any big total. In the lower order Axar Patel is holding the spot who can hit big sixes and add some quick runs to the total.

If we look onto the Zimbabwe squad, They have Hamilton Masakadza, Elton Chigumbura, Craig Ervine, Chamu Chibhabha who are good with the bat and can score runs for the teams. But they have to tackle the Indian fast bowlers. They have to bat sensibly and try to put some good runs on the board and then should accelerate the total. They have avoid silly mistakes and keep the wickets in their hand.

In the bowling department captain Graeme Cremer is leading from the front with Tendai Chatara, Taurai Muzarabani. In the 1st ODI match Chamu Chibhabha was impressive, he has bowled out 8 overs and only spend 14 runs with a maiden. Chatara was the only bowler who got the wicket in that match. In the last match bowlers have nothing to do as they were defending a score of 126 runs which is almost impossible that’s why Man in blues chase down the small target with ease. This time they have try little harder to take some early wickets and push Indian batsman onto the backfoot.

Zimbabwe vs India 2016 Schedule & Fixtures: ODI & T20 Series

BCCI & Zimbabwe cricket Board comes together and announced Zimbabwe vs India 2016 cricket series of 3 ODI and 3 T20 matches starting from 11 June onwards. India will tour Zimbabwe for the upcoming matches. The schedule and the fixtures of the same has been announced. First a 3 matches One Day International series will be played and then from 18th June T20 series will start. It has been a while when both the team played cricket together and now the wait comes to the end. The Indian team squad has been announced for the upcoming series. Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be leading the team in both the formats where Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and many more experienced players are given rest for the series. It will be young squad which will be guided by Dhoni and coached by Sanjay Bangar. Many players will make their debut in the upcoming ZIM vs IND 2016 series.

After impressive performance in IPL 2016, Lokesh Rahul got maiden call up for the ODI and T20 matches and will make his debut against team from African continent. Many of the players impressed selectors with their performance in the IPL and Yuzvendra Chahal is one of them. Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel, Rishi Dhawan, Dhawal Kulkarni are also included in the squad.

Zimbabwe squad hasn’t announced yet but the team will be led by Hamilton Masakadza (probably). He has that ability to put batsman on the back-foot and could be very effective bowler against Indian youngster.

Afghanistan Qualified for the T20 World Cup 2016 beating Zimbabwe

As we said earlier nothing is impossible in cricket and today we have witnesses a game in T20 World Cup 2016 where a young Asian team Afghanistan beat Zimbabwe by 59 runs and qualified for the tournament. This will be the third time when they have qualified for the World T20 tournament. Now they will be the part Group1 of Super 10 round. Tomorrow we will have another qualifier team from Group A and then all stats will be clear. Lets see what qualifier points table tell about the statics.

Earlier Today Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bat first. Mohammad Shahzad gave the start what they needed scored 40 runs on just 23 balls. But they lost early wickets and on a score of 63 top 4 batsman went back to the pavilion. Then the Mohammad Navi and Samiullah Shenwari batted wonderfully and take their team to a big total of 186 runs. Nabi scored 52 runs in just 32 deliveries where Samiullah score handy 43 runs in 37 balls.

Now Zimbabwe have to chase 187 runs in 20 overs which was to an easy task. From the starting wickets started fallen , one by one batsman are coming and spending few minutes and going back to the pavilion. No batsman achieve a score of 20 runs. Rashid khan took 3 wickets and destroyed the batting order of Zimbabwe and they got all out on a score of 127 runs in 19.4 overs.

So the deciding match decided that Afghanistan qualified for the t20 world cup 2016 and will play their first match of the tournament against Sri-Lanka on 17th March at Kolkata. Congratulations to them…

Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan 9th Qualifier T20 World cup 2016: Race to Get Qualified

Qualifier round of T20 World cup 2016 is moving towards its end and will decide which team going to participate in the tournament. Today 9th qualifier match will be played between the Zimbabwe and the Afghanistan team at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium,Nagpur. This match is very important for both the team and today we will get our first team from Group B which is going to qualify for the world t20 as both the team have same 4 points and playing their last match of qualifiers. The live action of the match will start at 3:00pm from Nagpur.

If we look onto the stats Zimbabwe team looking strong ,captain Hamilton Masakadza is in very good form with the ball, took 5 wickets so far in 2 match , 4/28 his best bowling figure and on the 2nd spot in the highest wicket taker table of the tournament. If we look onto the batting performance Sean Williams, Vusi Sibanda, Elton Chingumura are in good touch and are included in leading run scorer list. Mohammad Shahzad, Noor Ali Zadran are doing good with the bat where Mohammad Nabi is on the top in top bowlers list by taking 5 wickets so far in the tournament with 4/20 best individual performance.

So both the team have that talent and match performers who can take away the match at any instant. As Zimbabwe team having more experience than Afghanistan, their winning chance is more but who knows what happen next as nothing is impossible in cricket.

Scotland & Zimbabwe to play 5th Qualifier of T20 World Cup 2016 Live Score

The fifth qualifying match of T20 World Cup 2016 will be played between Scotland vs Zimbabwe on 10th March at VCA Stadium, Nagpur, India. Both the teams are in Group B of the qualifier round with Hong Kong and Afghanistan. The team which will lead the group in point table will progress to the Super 10 stage of the tournament. both the team will be meeting for the first time in a t20 match.

Scotland start was not as expected and they lost their first match of the tournament to Afghanistan. The batting and bowling both didn’t work for the team in the match as they let Afghanistan to score 170 runs and lost wickets on crucial moments. Due to this defeat, Scotland has legged behind and to make live their chances to enter in Super 10 of World T20 2016 they have to win their second qualifying match today .

On the other hand though Zimbabwe was able to win over Hong Kong in their first match of the tournament, their win was not an easy one as Hong Kong gave a tough competition. The bowling was looking weak which needs improvement. Vusi Sibanda smashing 59 runs innings helped Zimbabwe to put a decent score of 159 runs on the board.

Qualfier 1st: Zimbabwe vs Hong Kong T20 World Cup 2016 Live Score

The inauguration of the T20 World Cup 2016 will start with the first Qualifier match between Zimbabwe vs Hong Kong on 8 March at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur . The fifth edition of the World T20 will be started with a qualifier round between Group A and B, the two qualifier team with most win in their account in their respective groups will proceed to Super 10 round which will start from March 15 2016.

Zimbabwe and Hong Kong both are in Group B along with Afghanistan and Scotland. Group A consists of Bangladesh, Ireland, Netherlands and Oman. At the end of qualifying round, the winner of Group B will be placed in Group 1 with England, South Africa, West Indies and Sri Lanka whereas the team with highest win in Group A will placed with Australia, India, New Zealand and Pakistan in Group 2.

Zimbabwe team will be led by captain Hamilton Masakadza. The squad for t20 world cup 2016 marks the return of its senior player Tendai Chatara and Tinashe Panyangara. Zimbabwe squad for T20 World Cup 2016 has been named out. ICC World T20 tournament is starting from 8th March to 3rd April 2016 in India. They had played the tournaments 4 times with a very low winning percentage i.e. 33% (Matches played-9, won-3, lost-6). This time they are placed in Group B with Hong Kong, Afghanistan and Scotland.
