If we look at the team and their performance in the tournament, they have won 10 matches so far out of 16 they have played which is maximum of this season. They have won 8 league matches and than Eliminator followed by the Qualifier 2nd. So by winning two big battle in a row the confidence of the player will be on the peak of Everest. They have performed exceptionally well due to which SRH will play the final of the tournament against RCB.

First Royal challengers Bangalore won the toss and as expected choose to bowl first. This time Aaron Finch came to open the innings with Brendon McCullum and in the second over of Iqbal Abdulla both the opener returned back to pavilion. In the 4th over captain Suresh Raina also caught on fine leg on a short pitch delivery of Shane Watson (the Purple Cap holder). On a score of 9 runs GL have lost top 3 batsman in 3.4 overs. Now all the responsibility came onto the shoulders of Dinesh Kartik and Dwayne Smith. They batted sensibly and added 85 runs together. But in 14th over Kartik bold by Chris Jordan. He scored 26 runs on 30 balls but Smith continue to bat in his style. He was on fire, scored 73 runs on 41 balls with 6 sixes and 5 fours. He was caught by Virat Kohli on a delivery of Yazuvendra Chahal. No one other than these two added good runs for the team and lower order batsman got out one by one. The whole team of Gujarat Lions got all out and in 20 overs they set up a fighting total of 158 runs at the lost of 10 wickets. Shane Watson took 4 wickets (4/29 in 4 overs) and 2 wickets was for Iqbal Abdulla (2/38 in 4 overs) .

The target was looking too small in front of RCB Batting line up. But in the 2nd over of Dhawal Kulkarni, Virat kohli got out when he was trying to drive a good length ball through covers but inside edge on to the stumps. The 4th over of the innings from Dhawal Kulkarni was one of the best of IPL 2016 he took 2 wickets, one of Chris Gayle and the second one of Lokesh Rahul and that was a maiden from him too. A good innings played by Iqbal Abdulla who scored important 33 runs on 25 balls. In 18.2 overs RCB chased down 159 runs of target and entered into the IPL 2016 Finals. The credit goes to Innings of ABD of 79* runs on just 47 balls with 5 sixes and 5 fours. He was selected as Man of the Match for his match winning innings. It was a great bowling performance from Dhawal Kulkarni 4/14 in 4 overs. Ravindra Jadeja got 2 wickets in his spell.

The team on the 3rd and 4th position on the points table will battle in the match and the winner of the match will meet with the team who lose in the Qualifier 1st. The team which will lose in Eliminator will be out of the race of the finals. So in Eliminator SRH will face KKR. The Schedule of the same is given below in the table.

Qualifier 2nd :-

In this match the team won the Eliminator and the team who lose in Qualifier First will meet and fight to get ticket for the grand finale of Indian Premier league which will be played on 29th May 2016 at Bangalore. The two teams which will meet in the Qualifier 2nd will be cleared after the first two first two matches of Play-offs.

Teams Performance in the IPL 2016 so far :-

Delhi Daredevils :- In the very first match DD faced defeat with a big margin and people said that like previous year they will not go long in this season too. But they proved every body wrong and back to back wins bring DD on the top four teams of the IPL 2016 in the middle of the tournament. But from last 5 matches, the performance of the team was not that good due to which only 2 wins out of 5. The last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad they shown that yes they can defeat anybody in this year which was very crucial match for them ( a must win match ) and won the match on the last ball of 20th over by 4 wickets.

Possibilities of DD for the Play-offs :-

DD have played 13 matches so far and with 7 wins and 14 points they are on the 5th spot in the Points table. Gujarat Lions is on the first place with 18 points followed by SRH with 16 points and then Kolkata Knight Riders & RCB with 14 points but due to higher run rate RCB is above on Kolkata. If Delhi dare devils win this match they will be in top four and if they lose today then they have very less chance to get in Play-offs. They can only reach when SRH defeats KKR with a very good difference and DD loses with a very narrow difference so that they have can have better net run rate then Kolkata.
