The squad of both the teams for test series has been announced. Misbah-ul-haq will be leading the Green Shirts where Alastair Cook will be skipper British team. For the ODI and T20 matches Board still have to announce the teams. Mohammad Amir returning into the test team after a long time due to ban imposed on him by the PCB when he was found guilty in a spot fixing case. But now he is back in the squad and have played in World T20 2016, impressed every one with his swinging, bouncy deliveries there. Mohammad Hafees also selected for the tour. Before 2 months from now he got injured and hopefully will be fine before the first 1st test match. Younis Khan will be one of the most experienced player in their squad which will help the youngster on the tour.

England team is currently playing the test matches with the Sri Lanka follow by ODI and T20 series. It will surely benefit them in the upcoming series against the Pakistan. Joe Root, Alastair Cook, Jason Roy and James Anderson are some of the players who are performing exceptionally well in the ongoing series with Sri Lanka.

In 2015 PAK team defeated ENG in a test series by 2-0 in UAE and this time English team will try to clear the account by winning the upcoming test series. It will be interesting to see how Pakistan team will tackle England in their home.

Although Ireland team is not that powerful in comparison to that of Pakistan but due to many changes in the squad of subcontinent team it will be great chances for the home team to tackle them. The squads for the tour has been announced by both the cricket boards. Misbah-ul-Haq will be the captain of Green Shirts where William Porterfield will be leading the Irish team.

Mohammad Hafeez, Younis Khan,Misbah, and Sarfaraz Ahmad are some of the experienced batsman of the PAK team which can build some good partnership together and can put a decent total on the board. If  we look at the ICC ODI rankings of both the team, there is not much difference between them. Pakistan team is currently on 9th spot where Ireland is sailing on the 12th position. In this series both can gain some points and climb up in the table.

Today on 19th March 2016 just before the match rain delayed first and it was decided that it will be of 18 overs match. MS Dhoni won the toss earlier and decided to bowl first. It was a turning track and both the Indian spinners R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja done their job today. No Pakistani batsman was able to hit big shots against them. Sharjeel Khan and Ahmed Shehzad gave a steady but slow start to their team, score 17 runs on 24 balls and 25 runs on 28 balls respectively. On score of 48 they lost both their openers. Captain Shahid Afridi also not done well and got out scoring 8 runs on 16 balls then Umar Akmal and Soaib Malik batted sensibly and took pakistan to a score to 118/5 runs in 18 overs.

For India, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan came to open the innings but both the batsman lost their wicket early. Then Suresh Raina got out on a duck on his first ball. On a score of 23 India lost 3 wickets. Then Yuvraj Singh came on the crease and build a partnership with the great Virat Kohli and took India nearer to the total. Both the batsman made a partnership of 61 runs. Yuvraj got out scoring handy 24 runs on 23 runs with 1 six and 1 four. Then Virat Kohli completed his fifty and with Dhoni big six India levels the score and on next ball with a single India beat Pakistan again in the T20 World Cup and now on the 3rd position in the points table.

Earlier Pakistan team not coming to India for the World T20 due to security issues but after the commitment of Indian government they arrived yesterday and have a practice session before a warm-up matches. The defending champion Sri Lanka is disappointed with their loss against Bangladesh by 23 runs & this had made their chances to the final in doubt. The team needs to work on their batting. The return of Captain Lasith Malinga into the squad has strengthen the bowling side due to which Sri lankans were able to take early wickets against UAE giving them a win by 14 runs.
