Update: Fixtures of IPL 2017 Schedule is announced now. The first match will be played on 5th April 2017 between the Defending champion Sunrisers Hyderabad and Last year runner-up team Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. The Grand Finale will be played on 21st May 2017 on the same ground as of first match. Complete IPL 10 Fixtures are given in the end of the article.

Indian Premier League is an Indian based T20 cricket tournament which is played every year in the month of April and May. From the inaugural season 2008, the tournament getting humongous support from all over the world. Total eight teams participate in the league out of which four qualifies to next round of the tournament. So far 6 different teams have wont the IPL title and let’s see which team will lift the trophy this year.

We have witness the IPL 2016 season in which Sunrisers Hyderabad became the champions by defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore. Now fans are looking forward to next season which will be called Vivo IPL 10 as this will be the 10th season of the tournament. This year also Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings will not be part of the tournament as they were banned for the 2 years in 2016. The two new teams will not be new in the upcoming season. Gujarat Lions have topped the Points table where Rising Pune Supergiants was on 7th spot in 2016 season. This year all the teams will come on the ground with full charge, better confidence and try to improve their performance better than earlier.

Update on 15th Feb 2017 : BCCI and Indian Premier league Officials announced the fixture of upcoming 10th season. Check given below table.

Qualifier 1st :-

In this match top two team on the points table will fight and the team who will win the match will go to the finals of IPL 2016 directly. As Gujarat Lions and RCB are on the top so they will play the 1st qualifier.

The Eliminator :-

The team on the 3rd and 4th position on the points table will battle in the match and the winner of the match will meet with the team who lose in the Qualifier 1st. The team which will lose in Eliminator will be out of the race of the finals. So in Eliminator SRH will face KKR. The Schedule of the same is given below in the table.

Qualifier 2nd :-

In this match the team won the Eliminator and the team who lose in Qualifier First will meet and fight to get ticket for the grand finale of Indian Premier league which will be played on 29th May 2016 at Bangalore. The two teams which will meet in the Qualifier 2nd will be cleared after the first two first two matches of Play-offs.

Both the franchises agreed with the venue as their home ground and happy with the facilities available there.

Timing of Two Matches Changed :-

On May 15th two matches to be played and the timing of both the matches are changed due to this shifting of venue, the first match KXIP vs SRH will be Played at Mohali which will start at 4:00 pm and the second match MI vs DD will be played at 8:00 pm.

SRH has played only three season of IPL and is yet to make impact. Their best performance was in their debut season when they managed to reach play off stage and ended at fourth position. Kings XI Punjab, known as KXIP is a franchise based in Mohali, Punjab having PCA Stadium, Mohali as its homeground and Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium,Nagpur as secondary one. The team is owned by the famous Bollywood Actress Preity Zinta, Karan Paul, Wadia Group and Dabur Group. Inspite of having big names in the squad, they have not won the title even once though they are successful to reach the finals in 2009 and 2011 but lost.
