The ICC has also announced the schedule of the warm-up matches. Teams taking part in the first round will play their warm-up matches in Dharamsala and Mohali from 3-6 March, while sides featuring in the second round will play warm-up matches in Kolkata and Mumbai from 10-15 March. The women’s warm-up matches will take place in Bengaluru and Chennai from 10-14 March.

If Afghanistan, Hong Kong or Oman reach the second round of the Asia Cup, then their warm-up matches will be rescheduled accordingly.

Before all that I will tell you about the Super 10 stage of the tournament ,Top 8 teams of ICC T20 rankings need not to play qualify round, they are directly selected for the initial stage of World Cup which are divided in two Groups, each Group having 4 teams. Other than these 8 teams there are 8 more teams which play the qualifier round in which they also divided into two groups, the winner of both the Group will qualify for ICC T20 World Cup 2016 super 10 Stage making total 10 teams in the Stage .
