Earlier in the Match against KKR, Mumbai won the toss and as expected choose to bowl first. The Opening pair of KKR again gave their team a solid start. In the 8th over first wicket was fallen of Kolkata at the score of 69 runs in the form of Robin Uthappa. He scored 32 runs on just 20 deliveries. Then Shakib got out in the next over and on 121 runs captain Gautam Gambhir departs in 14th over. He scored 59 runs on 45 balls. Yusuf Pathan played the his role, boosted the score with 4 boundaries. In 20 overs KKR putted 174 runs on the board on the loss of 5 wickets.

Again it was a bad start for Mumbai Indians as Parthiv Patel departs in the 2nd over, scored only 1 run. But Rayudu and Rohit built up a good partnership and add quick runs to the score in the power-play. Then Rayudu got out when he is trying to go for the a big one but couldn’t clear the fielder at log-on. Couple of Wickets fall down after that but captain Rohit Sharma continues with his classic shots all over the ground and completed his half-century. When Kieron Pollard came on to the crease then all the remaining work was done by him. He smashed 3 sixes in an over of Rajagopal Sathish from where the game has changed and from there no one can able to stop him. Chris Morris scored fastest fifty of IPL 2016. He reached to his half-century in just 17 balls score 52 runs. If we look onto his innings, he remained not out on 82 runs on just 32 ball with 8 massive sixes ( one of them was of 101 meters which included in the list of Top 10 Longest Sixes of IPL 2016 ) and 4 fours. For the fifth wicket, Morris and Duminy made a partnership of 87 run on just 39 balls. JP Duminy dismissed by Bravo and he scored 48 runs on 43 balls.

Gujarat Lions are invited to bat first by Zaheer Khan as he won the toss. Despite of very good start of GL team they only able to put 172 runs on the board. The first wicket was fallen on 112 runs in 10.4 overs and from there, on regular interval wickets started fallen. At the end of 20 overs they score 172 run on the loss of 6 wickets.

A very poor start from Delhi daredevils, In 4 overs they have lost 3 wickets on just 16 runs. From there the next wicket fallen in 10.4 over of Rishabh Pant at a score of 57 run. So in 11 overs DD score was around 60 runs and in the last 9 overs they have added 110 runs and all credit goes to Chris Morris innings.

Turning Point of DD vs GL Match : The turning point of the match was JP Duminy’s wicket and the 19th over of Praveen kumar in which he gave just 4 runs.

Delhi Daredevil lost the match by 1 run but the man who won the heart of all cricket fans in yesterday’s IPL match of GL vs DD was Morris who is selected as Man of the match. Currently Gujarat Lions are on the first position on the points table with 10 points and Delhi Daredevils are on 3rd spot with 6 points.
