]]> The tenth match of Asia Cup T20 2016 will be played between Sri Lanka vs Pakistan on 4 March 2016 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur. Both the teams has played three match in the tournament and was able to secure only 1 win that too against minnows UAE. Both have secured equal points in the table but Pakistan legs behind on the basis of net run rate.

The defending champion Sri Lanka is disappointed with their loss against Bangladesh by 23 runs & this had made their chances to the final in doubt. The team needs to work on their batting. The return of Captain Lasith Malinga into the squad has strengthen the bowling side due to which Sri lankans were able to take early wickets against UAE giving them a win by 14 runs.

Sri Lanka vs Pakistan

The Pakistani batsman’s inconsistency is a major concern of the team which make them to lose their first match of the tournament against India by 5 wickets. Though team defeated UAE by 7 wickets but its was against the weakest team of the group. Mohammad Amir performance with ball has collected praise for him from everybody. If Pakistan wants to enter the final, they have to win the match against Sri Lanka.

ICC world T20 tournament is to begin from 8th March to 3rd April 2016 in India. The first step to the tournament has been taken by the Sri Lanka as they have announced their playing squad for T20 world cup 2016. Sri Lanka cricket team contains the in-form players and will be led by captain Lasith Malinga.

Lasith Malinga, Anglo Methews and Rangana Herath are the team players which will be making their return to the team squad for world T20 2016. With experienced Tillakaratne Dilshan and new talent  Dinesh Chandimal, the batting line has tendency to do wonders in the field.
