Finally the day has arrived for which all cricket fans are waiting from last two months. Today the grand IPL 2016 Final will be played and it will be RCB vs SRH match. Both the team have played very good cricket in the league and that’s why they are here in the finals. The live action will start at 8:00 pm from Bangalore. We are covering all the updated from the match. If you are not in front of your television set and unable to watch the play between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad then don’t panic we are here for you. You can check RCB vs SRH live Score of IPL 2016 final here on cricket99. com . As soon as match will start we will start showing live scorecard of the match. So if you are looking for the scorecard of the match then just scroll down and check the live scoreboard of the finale of IPL 9.

About the Match :-

After a long journey both the team reached to the grand stage. Both the team have played 14 matches in the league stage where they survive in the top 4 teams on the points table due to which they qualified into the play-offs. Both have won 8 matches out 14 but due to better net run rate of RCB, they was on 2nd position and SRH on 3rd. In Qualifier 1st RCB defeated Gujarat lions and became the first finalist of Indian Premier League 2016. By winning Eliminator match against Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers entered into the Qualifier 2nd and then again by beating Gujarat Lions there they qualified into the finals. So now it is battle for glory in the upcoming Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad match for both the team.

None of them have ever won the title so far. In the past season, RCB had qualified 2 times earlier but lost both the opportunity and this will be their 3rd chance of winning the IPL 2016 title. SRH has never reached into the finals and they will try to take the advantage of this opportunity and take away the trophy home. Both the team are played sensible cricket specially the captains of both the team Virat Kohli and David Warner. Both are the top run scorer of the tournament and the result of the match fairly depends on their innings in today’s match.

Play-offs are over now and we have two finalist of IPL 2016 and it will be RCB vs SRH on 29th May 2016 at M Chinaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. RCB was qualified by winning the first qualifier against Gujarat Lions and Sunrisers Hyderabad fought hard to get into the finals. First they defeated Kolkata Knight Riders in the Eliminator and then yesterday they beat Gujarat Lions by 4 wicket. Now the two captains who are the most run scorer of the tournament will be against each other for the grand battle. The match will start at 8:00 pm (local time). Indian Premier league season 9 have got their two finalist and this year both the team qualified into the finals have never won the title in the IPL history. So this year a new team will win the Vivo IPL 2016 trophy. No doubt Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad match will be a tough and competitive match we will have as both the team are the top performer among the other teams. The prediction of the match already started among the cricket fans. Every body is supporting their favorite teams and predicting the winner of IPL 9 final. So we are also ready with our prediction of the big match with all the yes and no of the individual team. So who will win the grand battle Bangalore or Hyderabad, lets find out.

Can Sunrisers Hyderabad win the Finale ?

If we look at the team and their performance in the tournament, they have won 10 matches so far out of 16 they have played which is maximum of this season. They have won 8 league matches and than Eliminator followed by the Qualifier 2nd. So by winning two big battle in a row the confidence of the player will be on the peak of Everest. They have performed exceptionally well due to which SRH will play the final of the tournament against RCB.

We all the know that Sunrisers have strongest bowling line up and now New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult also joined the team, becomes stronger than ever. Every team struggled in front of their bowling attack. Bhuvneshwar Kumar who has taken 23 wickets in 16 matches is the best performer from their squad and also current Purple Cap Holder of the tournament. Mustafizur Rahman has impressed every one with this bowling efforts and has taken 16 wickets so far. Due to the injury he has missed last match against Gujarat lions but hope he will be back in the finals. Ashish Nehra is not there with the team due to recent injury in his knee which is a big loss to the team but the bowlers like Barinder Sran, Bipul Sharma and Ben Cutting are there who are very economical with the ball and providing important breakthroughs at crucial time. So yes it is true that SRH have strongest bowling squad of IPL 2016 and hope they will restrict RCB in the upcoming match too so that they can’t score big total.

The main problem where Hyderabad team is struggling at is their batting. From the starting of the tournament, one man show continuously on and he is captain David Warner. Whenever he score 50+ runs at 90% of the occasion they won the match but if he got out early than whole team comes under pressure and loose wickets. Shikhar Dhawan, and Yuvraj Singh having good experience of IPL matches but not scoring runs for the team. Youngster like Deepak Hooda and Naman Ojha also disappointing with their short selections. The man who impressed in the lower batting order is Bipul Sharma specially in the last. He has smashed 3 sixes and contributed much-needed 27 runs in just 11 balls and took his team into the IPL Final along with David Warner who has scored his best individual score of 93* runs in 58 balls with 11 fours and 3 big sixes. Warner has scored total of 779 runs in 16 innings with 8 fifties and is on the 2nd position in Orange cap race just below Virat Kohli. So if they want to give a tough fight to Bangalore than they have to improve their batting. Big names who have to score runs at this grand level.

So if we look onto the possibilities of SRH to win the match yes they have very good chances and they have lift the trophy too. All depends on David Warner innings. The bowling is already up to the mark, if the batting order clicked than SRH can make history this season by wining RCB vs SRH Final match.

Chances of RCB :-

Before starting of the tournament every body is predicting Royal Challengers Bangalore as the winner of IPL 2016 as they have strongest batting line up among the all teams but they to poor bowling performance in the starting of the tournament they have lost 5 matches out of 7 they have played in initially. But from there they improved their bowling attack and by winning 6 out of 7 matches in the second half of the league they grabbed second position on the points table with 16 points. In the first Qualifier against Gujarat Lions the top order dismissed early but the man who is famous for his variety of shots AB de Villiers batted wonderfully and took his team into the Finals of IPL 2016. The bowling performance has been improved. Shane Watson and Yazuvendra Chahal are the leading wicket taker from Royal Challengers Bangalore squad. Both have taken 20 wickets so far in the league. Chris Jordan, Iqbal Abdullah are also providing important breakthroughs when captain asks from them. So overall the bowling is quite good.

We all know what RCB can do with the bat. They have scored 248 runs in 20 overs against Gujarat Lions which was the second Highest Team Total in IPL of all time. Virat Kohli what a player, Before this season he has ever scored a century in the history of IPL and this year 4 centuries in his bag. He has scored 919 runs in 15 innings which is also a record. Chris Gayle who can destroy anyone’s bowling career. He is famous for his big sixes and from last few matches he is looking good and may be in the big match we can see some sky flying sixes from him. In the middle order the finest cricketer of the world AB de Villiers is there with the team who can do anything. For him impossible is nothing. Than Shane Watson, Lokesh Rahul and Sachin Baby are there who are also in good form and can hit big shots to add momentum to the total in the slog overs. So the batting line up is fully charged and ready to hit biggies in the final match against SRH.

If we look onto the players and their performance in the previous matches, Bangalore have very good chances to win the grand finale of IPL 2016. They are good with the ball and wonderful with the bat.

RCB vs SRH Prediction : Bangalore or Hyderabad Who –

We have talked about each and every points about both the teams and by looking their individual strengths we have made our prediction of the match. According to our prediction of IPL 9 final Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad match RCB will win and became the winner of 9th season of Indian Premier league. But we know in the game of cricket and specially in IPL matches we can’t predict the result and anything can happen. A single ball can change the result of the match. So we have to wait for the Final match which will be played on 29th May 2016.

What a match that was yesterday, Full of drama and the result decided RCB as 1st finalist of IPL 2016. The occasion was Qualifier 1st between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Lions at M Chinnaswamy Stadium ,Bengaluru in which RCB beat GL by 4 wickets with 10 balls to spare. By winning first play-offs Bangalore directly entered into the IPL 9 finals which will be played on 29th May 2016 on their home ground. The hero of the match was AB de Villiers and Iqbal Abdulla. They have made a partnership of 91 runs and took their team home. The match was full of drama and when everyone think that this team gonna win the game, it turns again. In the end a wonder full innings from AB de Villiers of 79 runs on just 47 balls with 5 massive sixes worked for his team.
Match Report :-

First Royal challengers Bangalore won the toss and as expected choose to bowl first. This time Aaron Finch came to open the innings with Brendon McCullum and in the second over of Iqbal Abdulla both the opener returned back to pavilion. In the 4th over captain Suresh Raina also caught on fine leg on a short pitch delivery of Shane Watson (the Purple Cap holder). On a score of 9 runs GL have lost top 3 batsman in 3.4 overs. Now all the responsibility came onto the shoulders of Dinesh Kartik and Dwayne Smith. They batted sensibly and added 85 runs together. But in 14th over Kartik bold by Chris Jordan. He scored 26 runs on 30 balls but Smith continue to bat in his style. He was on fire, scored 73 runs on 41 balls with 6 sixes and 5 fours. He was caught by Virat Kohli on a delivery of Yazuvendra Chahal. No one other than these two added good runs for the team and lower order batsman got out one by one. The whole team of Gujarat Lions got all out and in 20 overs they set up a fighting total of 158 runs at the lost of 10 wickets. Shane Watson took 4 wickets (4/29 in 4 overs) and 2 wickets was for Iqbal Abdulla (2/38 in 4 overs) .

The target was looking too small in front of RCB Batting line up. But in the 2nd over of Dhawal Kulkarni, Virat kohli got out when he was trying to drive a good length ball through covers but inside edge on to the stumps. The 4th over of the innings from Dhawal Kulkarni was one of the best of IPL 2016 he took 2 wickets, one of Chris Gayle and the second one of Lokesh Rahul and that was a maiden from him too. RCB was on back-foot and after 4 overs they lost 3 important wickets on a score of 25 runs. In the next over Shane Watson also dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja and RCB was in deep trouble. Only hope is the AB de Villiers who is holding one end. Wickets are continuously falling from other end. Then some good shots from Stuart Binny who was given lbw (bad decision from Umpire), RCB managed to score 68 runs on a loss of 6 wickets in 9.4 overs. de Villiers continued his sensible cricket and took his team score nearer to the target. A good innings played by Iqbal Abdulla who scored important 33 runs on 25 balls. In 18.2 overs RCB chased down 159 runs of target and entered into the IPL 2016 Finals. The credit goes to Innings of ABD of 79* runs on just 47 balls with 5 sixes and 5 fours. He was selected as Man of the Match for his match winning innings. It was a great bowling performance from Dhawal Kulkarni 4/14 in 4 overs. Ravindra Jadeja got 2 wickets in his spell.

RCB became the first team to qualify into the IPL 9 Final which will be played on 29th May 2016. Now Gujarat Lions will battle in Qualifier 2nd against the winner of Eliminator match (2nd play-off match)which will be played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders.
