The cricket festival of India IPL 2016 has entered into the last round of the league matches. The battle to being in top four between the teams is on. The match 42 will be SRH vs DD which will be played at the home ground of Sunrisers Hyderabad team i.e Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium on 12th May 2016. The live action will start at 8:00 pm (local). As the tournament moving towards the final stage, excitement between the fans increasing and are getting crazy about the IPL 2016 Play-offs. The upcoming match of the league SRH vs DD is an important match for both the teams. Currently Sunrisers Hyderabad ruling the Points table with 14 points where Delhi Daredevils are on 4th place with 10 points. Lets see what our experts say about the match and the prediction of the Match with the biggest question who will win the match Hyderabad or Delhi answered below.

Match Preview and Earlier Performance of Both Teams :-

If we look onto the Delhi Daredevils, they have strong bowling squad and we have seen many matches in which the bowling side took away the match from the opponents. They have played 9 matches so far in the IPL 2016 and won 5 out of them. With 10 points they are standing on the 4th spot in the points table just below the Kolkata Knight Riders. One thing in which they are not up to the mark is the consistency of the batting order. No doubts they have all the batsman which are true match winners like Quinton de Kock, JP Duminy, Sanju Samson and many more. But the thing is the inconsistency of players. All the batsman have to take the responsibility of their role in the team and deliver that in the match. Quinton de kock have scored a century in one of the early game but from there he haven’t scored good runs for the team. Young Rishabh Pant looks very impressive but too many changes in the batting order for him. Sanju Samson is doing good with the bat but he have to convert a good start into big score which will make his team to put good target on the board for the opponent. All rounder like Chris Morris who have scored fastest fifty of IPL 2016 few days back are their with the bat as well as ball too. Who can forget Carlos Brathwaite the hero of World T20 2016 is there for the team who can smash big sixes in the last overs and boost team total with his batting ability. If we look onto the bowling department DD has strong bowling line up. Captain Zaheer Khan is leading the pace attack from the front with Morris, Brathwaite, Mohammad Sami and in the spin department Amit Mishra, Imran Tahir, Pawan negi are there for the team. So the bowling is good they just have to improve their batting strength and captain Zaheer have to stop doing experiments now because IPL 9 is in its final stage of the league and too many experiments can lead Delhi out of the tournament. Let’s see how they will perform in the upcoming match Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Delhi Daredevils.

SRH is looking one of the strongest contender of the IPL 2016 title now. In the starting no one thought that Sunrisers Hyderabad will play like this but captain David Warner took his team on to the top. He is in great form and currently on the second spot in the leading run scorer of IPL 2016 with 469 runs in 10 innings. Their main weapon is their bowling. They have strongest bowling line up of IPL 9 for sure. Recently they have defended a small target of 138 runs and won the match by 4 runs against Rising Pune Supergiants which shows how stronger is their bowling department. Experienced Ashish Nehra is very economical with the ball specially under pressure. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is ruling the leading wicket taker list of the tournament with 14 wickets in 10 matches and is the current Purple cap holder of Indian Premier League 2016. The young Mustafizur Rahman is also in the list with 13 wickets and is very good with his yorkers in the slog overs. So SRH team is good with the ball but what about their batting. David Warner is scoring runs and team is much dependent on him. From last few 4-5 innings Shikhar Dhawan is looking in good touch, he scored 3 half centuries so far and now back in the form which is good sign for the team. Yuvraj Singh also returned into the squad from the injury. Every one have to contribute themselves, so that pressure from the Warner would be released and he can play his natural cricket in the SRH vs DD match.

Both the teams almost equal in the batting as well as bowling performance and it will be very tough match for both the teams and full of entertainment for the fans.

Toss: Yes it Matters :-

We all know that in T20 cricket, toss is very important factor which gave an extra advantage to the team. In the IPL 9 we have seen almost all captains won the toss decided to bat second. It is a short format of cricket and wicket not matters that much as in ODI and Test. So batting second is always gave some extra advantage to the batsman because they know how to play, at what time they have to accelerate their innings with the big shots. So in the upcoming match Hyderabad vs Delhi we will see the same trend, the team winning the toss will decide to bowl first.

Earlier Encounter :-

If we look onto the previous season, they have fought 6 battles so far in which SRH won 5 times and only 1 time DD mange to win. In IPL 2016 this will be the first time when Surisers Hyderabad will face Delhi Daredevils.

Key Players for the Match :-

Here are the key players of both the teams for the coming SRH vs DD match which can change the game on one’s own.

Sunrisers Hyderabad:-

David Warner

Yuvraj Singh

Mustafizur Rahman

AshishNehra

Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Delhi Daredevils:

Quinton de Kock

JP Duminy

Chris Morris

Carlos Brathwaite

Mohammad Shami

SRH vs DD Prediction : Who will win:-

Again very hard to predict the winner of Hyderabad vs Delhi match of IPL 2016 as both the teams looks equal in terms of bowling and batting too. But if we have to predict the result of the match, we will go with the Sunrisers Hyderabad team as they have won 5 matches out of 6 in the previous encounter and also the current form of SRH is better than the DD. So from our side its Hyderabad who is going to win the match but anything can happen into the game of cricket and it will be cleared only after the match. What you think which team will win Hyderabad or Delhi Daredevils ? Predict the winner into the comments.

Update: Delhi Daredevils won the match by 7 wickets.

You can Check scorecard of the match 42 here.

One of the new team of IPL 2016 GL will play its fourth match Gujarat Lions vs Sunrisers Hyderabad on 21st April at Rajkot. Gujarat Lions and Rising Pune Supergiants are the two new teams in Indian Premier League 9 serving as a replacement for the suspended teams Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals for their alleged role in illegal match fixing. Live score card and result of GL vs SRH IPL 9 will be updated in this article.

Gujarat Lions will be playing their first season of Indian Premier League. But underestimating this team can harm the opponent as GL can give a tough competition. The team will be captained by former CSK player Suresh Raina. Brendon McCullum, Dwayne Smith and Dwayne Bravo will be the key players for GL.

Sunrisers Hyderabad made its debut in IPL 2013 and have participated in three seasons till now. SRH was introduced after Deccan chargers has been defunct by the board. The teams best performance was in its debut season when they managed to reach the play-off rounds. But in later two season they could not qualify further the league stages. David Warner will be leading the team in IPL 9. SRH franchise made a strong move in the auction of this year by adding Yuvraj Singh to their side at a huge amount of Rs 7 crores making him the third costliest player of 2016. The squad for Gujarat vs Hyderabad is given below.
