India 6th time Asia Cup Champion beating Bangladesh in the Final

Here comes India again, won the Asia cup 2016 final at Mirpur against Bangladesh and became the 6th time champion of the tournament. Mahendra Singh Dhoni finishes the game in his style by hitting a massive six. Shikhar Dhawan is selected as man of the match for his 60 runs innings on 44 balls. Virat kohli is awarded with coolest player of the match who finishes the game with the captain, made handy 41 runs.

India won the Asia cup title 6th time which is highest number now, earlier Sri Lanka and India sharing this position by winning 5 times each. Bangladesh became the runner-up two times in the history but didn’t able to convert the opportunity into the win. Anyway they performed really well throughout the tournament.

Earlier today rain delayed the match and started at 9:00pm (IST). Umpires decided to make this match a 15-15 over game. Toss won by India and invited Tigers to bat first. After early wicket falls, Sabbir Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan take their team score forward but Shakib got out on a delivery of R Ashwin. Then Mahmudullah made 33 runs on just 13 balls with 2 sixes and 2 fours due to which they able to put 120/5 in 20 overs on the board.

Indian innings also not started well as Rohit Sharma departed early on a score of 1 run. Then the great Virat Kohli came on to the crease and with Dhawan took Indian innings closer to the target. Shikhar made 60 runs. India needed 19 runs in the last 2 overs when MS Dhoni came to the crease. His fire-proof shots took India home with 1.1 over left. Most Centuries, Fifty in Asia Cup 2016 by Batsman with Highest Individual Score

Asia cup 2016 will end with the final match which will be played on 6 March 2016 between India and Bangladesh. Total five teams participated in the tournament and each team played 4 matches. Today we are going to publish the list of batsman who scored most centuries ,fifties in the Asia cup 2016 with the highest individual score of them in the tournament. We have also publishes the list of leading run scorer of the tournament earlier and today the batsman who scored most number of half centuries.

Till now no batsman able to scored a hundred in the tournament and still one match remaining. Hope some one can. There are many batsman who scored fifties in the tournament with amazing strike-rate. Among the five, India team is the only one which won all their 4 matches ,where Bangladesh won three. Pakistan team ends the tournament with 2 wins one against the UAE and the other one is against the Sri Lanka. The defending champions not able to do well in the tournament, only one winning match in their bag.

India Thrashed Pakistan in the 4th Match of Asia Cup 2016 by 5 Wickets

India vs Pakistan always a big match for both the nations and today in Asia cup 2016 we had the match for which both India and Pakistan are waiting for. This was the 4^th match of the tournament where India thrashed Pakistan by 5 wickets and still on the top of the Asia cup points table with 4 points and remained unbeatable in the tournament so far.

The match was played on Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur Stadium and started on 7:00 pm (IST) where Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the Toss and invited Pakistan to bat first. The plan of the Indian captain succeeded, got early break through on the 4^th ball of the match of Ashish Nehra over in the form of Mohmmad Hafeez at a score 4/1. Then Bumrah Strikes and send Sharjeel Khan to the pavilion. One by one Pakistan’s wickets start falling. Sarfraz Ahmed was the highest scorer for Pakistan team and made 25 runs. In 17.3 overs Pak team got all out and now India needed 85 runs in 20 overs to win the 4^th match of Asia cup 2016.

For Indian team, Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane came to open the inning but both the batsman got LBW in the very first over of Mohammad Amir . Then the big man Virat Kohli came on the crease with Suresh Raina on the other hand, took Indian inning forward. In the 3^rd over Raina in trying to play a lofted shot on the leg side got caught by Wahab Riaz on the delivery of Mohammad Amir. Now India is on 8/3 in 2.4 runs. All the responsibilities came on the shoulder of Kohli & Yuvraj Singh. Both the batsman batted sensibly and took India nearer to the target. Virat batted wonderfully with so many cricketing shorts and made 49 runs on 51 balls, given LBW by the umpire which should not be given as that was an inside edge on to the pads. Anyways in 15.3 overs with MS Dhoni’s four, India won the 4^th Asia cup 2016 match against the rivals Pakistan by 5 wickets. Yuvraj made handy 15 runs on 32 deliveries.

Virat Kohli was selected as Man of the Match for his 49 runs with 7 fours with $5000 and a trophy.
Mohammad Amir wa awarded for his amazing bowling spell with $2500 cheque.

5th Team of Asia Cup 2016: United Arab Emirates Qualify for the Tournament

After so many up and downs in the qualifying points table, United Arab emirates became the 5th team of Asia cup 2016. Each team of qualifiers had to play 3 matches. UAE won all the 3 cricket matches they have played and qualified for the 2016 Asia cup T20. The tournament is starting from 24th February with India vs Bangladesh 1st T20 Match at Mirpur stadium.

Before the last qualifying match, Afghanistan vs Hong kong T20 was played where Afghanistan won the match by 66 runs and went to the top spot in the points table with 4 points. The last qualifier match of asia cup was going to decide which was played between unbeaten United Arab Emirates and Oman. In this match UAE made 172/6 in 20 overs where Oman only scored 101/8 at the end of the innings and decided the fifth team of Asia cup 2016 as UAE.

Now United Arab Emirates going to the tournament and will play their first match against Sri Lanka on 25th February 2016.
