										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of the major domestic cricket league of India Duleep Trophy 2016 is going to start in August. This year there will be 3 teams participating in the league in place of 5 as decided by BCCI which are named as India Red, India Blue, India Green. The first match will be played between Red &amp; Green teams on 23rd August &#8211; 26th August. BCCI just announced the <span style="color: #ff0000;">Duleep Trophy 2016 Schedule</span> and we are ready with the fixtures for our viewers. You can find all the details about the matches, venues &amp; the teams participating in the league in this article.</p>

<h3>Pink Ball &amp; Day-Night Test Matches :-</h3>
<p>All the matches will be played with the <span style="color: #ff0000;">Pink Ball</span> and all will be <span style="color: #ff0000;">day-night matches</span>. This is first time in the Indian Cricket History when a test match will be played under the light and with pink ball too. It is an experiment and if successful BCCI will take it forward to the international level.</p>
<h3>About the League :</h3>
<p>It is a first class cricket league of Indian domestic cricket which is played every year and this will be the 55th season of the league. Generally 5 teams used to participate in the tournament but this year there will be 3 teams only. Total 4 matches to be played, each team will play once against each other and after three matches, the two teams having more points in the table will play the grand finale.</p>
<p><strong>Format :-</strong></p>
<p>The Duleep Trophy is a first class cricket league which follows test match format. This year the league matches will be of 4 days test matches and the final one will follow the international standards i.e. it will be 5 day test match. Pink ball will be used in place of the ordinary red ball and the matches will be played under the flood lights.</p>

<p><a href="http://cricket99.com/yuvraj-singh-debut-cricket-records/">Yuvraj Singh</a> will be leading the &#8220;India Red&#8221;, <a href="http://cricket99.com/suresh-raina-debut-cricket-records/">Suresh Raina</a> is appointed as the captain of &#8220;India Green&#8221; and Gautam Gambhir will be heading up &#8220;India Blue&#8221;. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Suresh Raina plays for <a href="http://cricket99.com/teams/india-cricket-players/">Indian Cricket Team</a> on International Level. He is a left-handed middle order batsman and is a needy off-spin bowler. In 2005, Raina made his ODI debut but entered Test Match format 5 years later. He has also served Indian Team as Captain and is the second youngest to do so for India. He holds record together with <a href="http://cricket99.com/rohit-sharma-debut-cricket-records-performance/">Rohit Sharma</a> for being the only Indian batsman to score century in all three formats of <a href="http://cricket99.com/series/">International Cricket</a>. He was in the team squad which won ODI <a href="http://cricket99.com/icc-t20-world-cup-2016-schedule/">World Cup</a> in 2011.</p>
<p>He was born on 27  November 1986 and started playing cricket since year 2000. He was the captain of U-16 team for Uttar Pradesh &amp; made his Ranji Trophy debut in 2003 for Uttar Pradesh. He has also played the U-19 Asian ODI Championship and 2004 U-19 World Cup and was awarded with a Border-Gavaskar scholarship to train at the Australian Cricket Academy.</p>
<p>His father Trilok Chand Raina is a retired Military Officer. He is the youngest among four siblings. Suresh Raina is married to his childhood friend Priyanka Chaudhary and lives in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. He is a graduate in B.Com. He has also sung a song in movie Meeruthiya Gangster.</p>
