CRICKET99 Cricket Live Score ,Matches & Tournaments Just before the World T20 2016, Cricket South Africa and Cricket Australia decided a KFC T20 International series or we can say South Africa vs Australia T20 series 2016 which is scheduled from 4th March to 9th March 2016. Total 3 T20 cricket matches to be played between both the teams. It will a like training session for the upcoming grand tournament T20 World cup which will be hosted in India. Same series was held in 2014 where Aussies won comfortably but in the World Twenty20 2014 won only 1 match out of 3 and was unable to qualify for the knockout round. In January 2016 Australia lose all the 3 T20 matches they have played against India. So it will much-needed series for Aussies to get back on the winning track.
For the this KFC T20I series, Steven Smith will be the captain of the team. So now he will be the skipper of the team in all format of cricket. Earlier Arron Finch was given this job for T20I. Three new faces joining the Australian team squad Peter Nevill, Ashton Agar and Adam Zampa.
Wicket-keeper Nevill has already made his Test debut ,Left-arm spinner Ashton have played two Tests & ODI matches, where Adam played two ODI against New Zealand recently. So all the three players have played international cricket matches earlier but how they will handle the pressure of T20 cricket will see in this upcoming series. In the bowling squad of Australia James Faulkner leading with Josh Hazlewood ,John Hastings, Shane Watson & Nathan Coulter-Nile.
As always Faf du Plessis will be the skipper of South African team. Kagiso Rabada & Dale Steyn return will bring back the strength in the pace attack of the team. The wicket-Keeper batsman Quinton de Kock also making his comback into the squad strengthening batting line up along with AB.
