The KXIP Team for IPL 2023 is all set to go in the upcoming season. Despite of their bad performance in the many season of Indian Premier League, KXIP team is one of the favorite squad among the eight due to the big players in their squads and the Bollywood actress Preity Zinta.
For the first few season the Chandigarh boy,the Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh was the part of the team which is one of the reason. First 6 season was not good for them. But in 2014 a new squad has been made in which Glenn Maxwell, Virender Sehwag, David Miller, Gorge Bailey and many more players are included and in that season Kings XI Punjab topped points table and became the runner-up of 2014 season of IPL.
In IPL 2023, management released some of their player. Ex-captain George Bailey and Virender sehwag was the big names in the list. Sehwag will be mentor of the team as he is appointed to the post after he announced his retirement from International cricket. In Indian premier league 2016 auction Mohit Sharma was the most paid player of their squad (Rs 6.5 crore) ,Kyle Abbott for Rs 2.1 crore. Total 8 new players are included in the squad for the upcoming 2023 season IPL 15.
