Women’s Points table T20 World Cup 2016: Team Rankings in WT20

World T20 has been started from 15th March. Both men and Women are participating in the tournament. Total ten women teams are there out of which 4 teams will go to the knock round. This will be decided by the Women’s points table of T20 World Cup 2016. These teams are divided in two groups of 5 teams each, Group A and Group B. The top two teams in the points table from each group will go to the semi-finals of the tournament.

Here is the details of the teams and how they are divided in the different groups :-

Group A (Women) :- Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka

Group B (Women) :- Bangladesh, England, India, West-Indies, Pakistan

Both the tournament will go simultaneously, daily we will have matches and according to the team performance we will see changes in the points table . Each team will play 4 matches with the other teams of their own group. Each women teams have to look onto the net run rate since it is major deciding factor in ranking. The teams having same points, NRR will decide the position. So all these things should be kept in the minds while playing T20 World Cup matches.
