Virat Kohli 100* on 63 Balls against Gujarat Lions But RCB Lost the Match

Finally in the ninth season of Indian Premier League the one of the finest batsman of 2016 year of cricket Virat Kohli got his first century of the tournament. Virat scored 100* runs not out on just 63 balls against Gujarat Lions at Rajkot. It was Match 19th GL vs RCB of IPL 2016 in which Royal challengers Bangalore won the toss and elected to bat. Virat Kohli opens the inning for his team and came not out at the end of the innings. In his First hundred of IPL he concluded 9 classic fours and 1 biggie. He scored runs all around the ground and in the last over specially on the last 3 balls he hit 1 six then 2 fours in a row and achieved his first hundred in the IPL history.

Shane Watson and AB de Villiers got out early and in 7.4 overs RCB was 59/2 But KL Rahul who is included in the playing XI at the last moment stand with the captain and scored his first half century of the tournament. He scored 51 runs on just 35 balls with 3 sixes and 4 fours remained not out. At the end of 20 overs RCB putted 180 runs on the board at the loss of 2 wickets and now Gujarat Lions needed 181 runs to win the match in 20 overs.

Brendon McCullum and Dwayne Smith gave the good start to their team. Every batsman contributed to the team total and Dwayne Bravo smashed a winning four for the team.
