BCCI has announced Indian team squad for the upcoming Zimbabwe vs India 2016 series for both ODI and T20 matches. For the upcoming series all the senior players are rested and a young squad is formed which will be led by captain cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni. So there will be no Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan there with the team. Many new faces are there in the list like Faiz Fazal, Yazuvendra Chahal, Mandeep Singh, Karun Nair. Most of them are picked on the basis of their recent performance in domestic cricket and in on going IPL 2016. Dhawal Kulkarni who has impresses every one with his bowling performance in the Indian Premier League leads selectors to pick him up for the tour.
KL Rahul who was picked up for test series against Australia where he scored 2 centuries, now will make his debut in ODI and T20 too. Manish Pandey who has impressed every one with his batting against Australia when India was on tour of Australia in January 2016 is also included in the squad So lets see how Indian young cricket will perform under the guidance of experienced Dhoni against Zimbabwe.
