This year two new teams Gujarat Lions and Rising Pune Supergiants are introduced into the tournament. They have replaced two popular teams of IPL, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals due to some fixing issues for the next two years. Both the team have won the title earlier but for the next two season there will be no CSK and RR. This was big blow for the fans but good news is that the players of both the teams will play in the league for the different team this year.
The newly formed teams are ready with their squad. MS Dhoni will be the captain of RPS, where Suresh Raina will lead Gujarat team. Again it will be 8 team format. Each team will play 14 matches in the league stage 2 matches with each team and the top 4 teams in the IPL 2017 points table will get qualified for the next level i.e. Play-off round. So the fight is for the top four place in the team ranking table.
This year we can see so many changes in the team squad. Shane Watson will play for Royal Challengers Bangalore, Yuvraj singh will represent Sunrisers Hyderabad, Young Pawan Negi which is most expensive Indian player of IPL 2017 goes to Delhi Daredevils and many more are there. It will be full entertaining tournament as earlier. By introducing two new teams in to the league entertainment level will be increased as fans love these kind of chances.
The Net run rate is always crucial in deciding team ranking in the points table. Each team will try to win the match with good difference so that they can have good NRR. In the last few matches when teams have equal points than this Net run rate will decide the rank of the team. So it is one of the major factor in the table which should always be kept in mind of the captain and the coach in the IPL 10.

Play-offs Matches :-
- GL vs RCB (Qualifier 1st) : RCB won the match by 4 wickets and entered into the finals. Now Gujarat Lions will play in Qualifier 2nd.
- SRH vs KKR (Eliminator) : SRH won the match by 22 runs and entered into Qualifiers 2.
- GL vs SRH (Qualifier 2nd) : Will be played on 27th May 2016. SRH won the match and entered into the finals of IPL 2016. On 29th May it will be RCB vs SRH the grand Finale at Bangalore.
Grand Finale RCB vs SRH: Sunrisers Hyderabad won the final match by 8 and became the champion of IPL 2016

Hi Friends! I am Aneesh of class 5 and I live in Kolkata and my school’s name is Modern Academy. Gujarat Lions will hold the trophy this year. KKR will also hold a trophy but that will be the runners up one. This season the best batting line up is in RCB because of Kohli or you can just say marvellous, AB, Gayle Storm and Sarfaraz and the best bowling attack is in KKR and the best fielding side is also RCB, SRH and RPS. For GL top 11 should be this Aaron Finch, Brendon Mccullum, Suresh Raina, Dinesh Karthik, Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja, James Faulkner, Dhawal Kulkarni,Praveen Kumar, Shadab Jakati and Pravin Tambe.
