Gujarat Lions is a new team in IPL playing first time. The team is based on Rajkot city of Gujarat and its primary home ground is Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium Rajkot. GL has included most of the players of the suspended teams and Suresh Raina, former CSK player, will be leading the squad. The team is looking strong with the players like Brendon McCullum, Dwayne Smith, Dwayne Bravo, James Faulkner, Ravindra Jadeja, Dinesh Karthik, Amit Mishra on its side. They will be playing their first match of IPL against KXI Punjab on 11 April.
