CPL T20 Winners & Runner-ups Teams Won Caribbean Premier League Title

One of the popular T20 cricket event Caribbean Premier League is all set to rock the West Indies Islands from 29th June 2016. The schedule of CPL 2016 is ready with the 34 matches and all the teams are gearing up for the event. We have seen 3 season of the league and it will be 4th one. If you don’t know the previous CPL T20 winners then we will let you know the list of teams who have won the Caribbean Premier league in the history. We have prepared a list in which we have included the winning team, the runner-up with the respective season and the difference with which a win was conceived.

CPL T20 winers

The tournament is held every year and 2013 was the inaugural season of the league. Three seasons are concluded so far and we have 3 different winners. In each season total six teams participated and played a round robin t20 cricket league. The top 4 teams qualified to the Play-offs just like Indian Premier League. The inaugural season was won by Jamaica Tallawahs in 2013 where they have defeated Guyana Amazon Warriors.

Guyana Amazon Warriors have reached into finals of the tournament twice in 2013 and 2014 but didn’t able to convert the opportunity. Barbados Tridents have also reached twice in the finale and in first attempt won the title but last year got defeated by Trinbago Knight Riders.

Big names from all around the world joins the tournament for different franchises and spice up the game with their flavor. Ab de Villiers, Brendon McCullum, Faf du Plessis, Shane Watson, and many more international players are participates every year in the tournament.

So lets see who will win this year, will it be a new team who never won the trophy so far or a team who will be repeating the history again. What you think ??
